About This Scholarship

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation offers various scholarships to support Korean American students who are pursuing higher education in the United States. Eligibility Criteria For KASF Scholarships

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to students of Korean heritage studying in the United States. To be eligible for KASF Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Korean Heritage: Applicants must be of Korean heritage, as defined by KASF.
  • Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign students with an appropriate visa status.
  • Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at an accredited university or college in the United States.
  • Academic Achievement: All the applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Applicants must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership.
  • Recommendation Letters: Applicants must submit at least two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the applicant’s character, academic performance, and potential for success.
