The Sheryl A. Horak Law Enforcement Explorer Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the National Law Enforcement Exploring Committee. The scholarship is designed to honor the memory of Sheryl A. Horak, a police officer who was killed in the line of duty in 1988, and to support the educational aspirations of young people who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
The scholarship provides up to $1,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years. To apply, students must submit a completed application form, transcripts, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.
