The Certified Angus Beef Colvin Scholarship Fund is a program established by the Certified Angus Beef brand in honor of the late Louis M. “Mick” Colvin, a longtime employee and advocate for the brand. The program provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in the beef industry.
The Colvin Scholarship is awarded annually to up to six undergraduate or graduate students studying animal science, meat science, food science, agricultural economics or a related field. Recipients receive a $7,500 scholarship to help with tuition, fees, books and room and board.
Applications for the Colvin Scholarship are typically due in the spring of each year. Interested students should visit the Certified Angus Beef website for more information and to apply.
