The WGA Evans Scholars Program, also known as the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation, is a scholarship program that provides full tuition and housing scholarships to deserving caddies. The program is administered by the Western Golf Association (WGA) and is named after its founder, Charles “Chick” Evans Jr., who was a prominent amateur golfer.
The Evans Scholars Program is designed to support young men and women who have demonstrated strong caddie records, excellent academic achievements, leadership skills, and financial need. The scholarship covers tuition and housing at one of the participating universities or colleges where Evans Scholars are enrolled.
