Eligibility Criteria For Saint Therese Youth Volunteer Scholarship

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • All young people currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12 who, as of the date of submission, had volunteered for at least 20 hours with one or more seniors. 
  • Reapplication is encouraged for previous applicants who have not yet been awarded a scholarship. 
  • Previous recipients are ineligible and won’t be taken into consideration.
  • Candidates who are qualified have impacted the lives of seniors at a care facility or in their neighbourhood. The following are some possible methods to use volunteer time: visits one-on-one, help with domestic tasks like raking leaves or shovelling snow or supermarket shopping.
  • Candidates must reside in one of the western Wisconsin counties, Pierce or St. Croix, or one of the seven counties that make up the Twin Cities metro region (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington).
