The DHS Summer Research Team Program for Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) is an initiative offered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It is designed to provide opportunities for students and faculty from MSIs to engage in scientific research related to DHS’s mission areas.
Through the program, students and faculty members from MSIs are paired with DHS research mentors and participate in research projects at DHS-affiliated laboratories or research facilities. The program aims to enhance the research capabilities of MSIs while promoting diversity and inclusion in the fields relevant to DHS.
