Be aware that the Shannon Mayes Memorial Scholarship is only for the 2022–2023 academic year and that the money can only be used for housing and board, tuition, books, and other course-related costs. If funds are available, this scholarship is renewed on a competitive basis. The Shannon Mayes Memorial Scholarship is available to students who meet the following requirements: they must have attended Heritage High School for at least two years, be at least freshmen in college at the time of application, and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program. The evaluation criteria will be based on an essay, recommendations, leadership, leadership experience, and academic performance.
