It was created in honour of Kiwanis member Linda Canaday, who was married to Don Canaday, the 2008–09 president of Kiwanis International. The scholarship is given to one candidate and recognises Linda’s devotion to and affection for kids, which she showed throughout her career as a teacher and in her work with Kiwanis.
Award: A minimum of US$3,500 was given. The precise sum will be decided nearer the time of the award. Applicants must be residents of Indiana and high school graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent. Applicants must have been two-year Key Club International members in good standing.
