For graduating high school seniors, college and graduate students, re-entry students, and students attending vocational and technical schools, SVCF sponsors scholarship programmes. Every year, we give away nearly 700 scholarships worth more than $4.5 million. Since 2007, we have given away almost $27.2 million to students through scholarships created through SVCF by individuals, families, and organisations. Our scholarships will have a range of due dates.
The prize was created in Courtney McCoy’s honour, a Palo Alto High School student. Application requirements include being a current Palo Alto High School senior who plans to attend college, having worked as a teaching assistant or a classified student service assistant, and showing effort, a positive attitude, and good attendance.
