You must also submit two letters of recommendation, one from the rector and the other from a school official or counsellor. You must also include a 300-word statement of your educational and professional goals as well as a 300-word essay on a social justice issue that is significant to you.
A high school senior in the Diocese of Washington must be accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited junior or community college, and applicants must be active members of an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Washington in order to be considered for the Bishop John Bryson Chane Scholarship for Social Justice.
