If you’re a law student with a passion for community service and public interest work for the Asian Pacific American (APA) community, and you’re interested in working in the San Francisco Bay Area, you might be eligible for one of the many AABA Law Foundation Scholarships. These scholarships offer between $5,000 and $10,000 to successful applicants. They are provided by the Asian American Bar Association (AABA) of the Greater Bay Area, which has been the voice of the San Francisco Bay Area’s APA legal community since 1976. For more information on the specific requirements for each scholarship, we recommend checking out their profiles on the AABA website. The AABA Law Foundation Scholarships are awarded to law students at the entering level, law students in their final year of study, and young attorneys who’ve been in practice for no more than five years. This is a competitive scholarship program; previous recipients have had an average GPA of 3.6. Please visit the website for specific information on each scholarship.
