About This Scholarship

Are you currently enrolled in a university and working toward a degree in aerospace or aviation? If so, consider applying for the Amelia Earhart Academic Scholarship. The award is available to members of The Ninety-Nines working toward a degree in aviation or aerospace at an accredited institution or university. The Ninety-Nines, Inc., a global organization comprised of licensed female pilots worldwide, is pleased to present this and other scholarship opportunities for aspiring pilots. They want to honor their past by supporting aviation education and scholarship programs and sharing their enthusiasm for flight with others. The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 1940 by The Ninety-Nines to memorialize Amelia Earhart and carry on her lifelong passion for aviation legacy. So, each year, their Academic Scholarship bestows grants of up to $10,000 upon several candidates to assist them in funding their flying training.
