If you’re a high school senior planning to attend college and need financial aid, consider applying for the Dell Scholars Program. This program is open to incoming college students eligible for the Pell Grant and has completed a college readiness program during grades 11 and 12. The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation established the program in 1999 to help low-income students pursue higher education. Each year, the program selects 500 students to become Dell Scholars and receives $20,000 for college expenses. Additionally, Dell Scholars receive various benefits, such as a laptop, Chegg credits for textbooks, access to teletherapy, and more. The organization’s website also has resources tailored to help students prepare for college, including college planning advice, a college search tool, and a list of admissions requirements.
