ISC2 Women’s Cyber Security Scholarship is an annual scholarship offered by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, which acts as a charitable entity under ISC2. This scholarship aims to reduce the gender gap in cybersecurity by providing financial support to female students pursuing higher education in cybersecurity. This scholarship provides up to $1,000 and $5,000 for funding tuition costs, fees, and textbooks. The application for 2026 closed in March, and hence, the notification for winners is currently underway. Applications for 2027 will begin in early 2027.
In addition to the financial benefits, (ISC)² scholars gain access to a vast network of more than 150,000 professionals in cybersecurity who have earned certification. In other words, this award provides a unique opportunity for networking which would otherwise not be easy to obtain at the beginning of one’s career. In addition, the position of the (ISC)² scholar would be an important advantage for female students in the US when seeking internship opportunities at government agencies or technology companies. Importantly, the award accepts applicants from both online and traditional institutions.
This initiative provides scholarship to women with interest in pursuing careers in the realm of cybersecurity and information assurance. It is offered through the Center for Cyber Safety and Education. This organization is aware of the additional struggles experienced by women in the field of technology. This grant is provided as a means of developing an all-inclusive team capable of handling issues of global concern. The scholarship is offered to students from around the world, including in the US. It offers assistance for Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees.
