Eligibility Criteria For KnowBe4 Scholarship for Black Americans in Cybersecurity

The eligibility criteria for the KnowBe4 Scholarship for Black Americans in Cybersecurity are as follows:

  • All the Applicants must be Black American students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a cybersecurity or information assurance degree program at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Applicants must be full-time students at the undergraduate or graduate level and they must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must provide a personal statement of up to 500 words that addresses the following topics: a) Why they are interested in pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, b) What inspired them to pursue this field, and c) How they plan to use their degree to make a positive impact.
  • Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, or professional in the field of cybersecurity.

The KnowBe4 Scholarship for Black Americans in Cybersecurity awards one scholarship of $10,000 per year to a selected applicant.
