If you are a full-time postsecondary student majoring in engineering or a related field and have aspirations of pursuing a career in the heating, refrigerating, or air conditioning industries, you may want to consider applying for the ASHRAE Scholarships offered by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Every year, scholarships worth up to $10,000 are awarded to applicants who submit an essay, transcript, proof of enrollment, and three letters of recommendation. ASHRAE, a professional association dedicated to advancing the design and construction of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, provides scholarship funds.
