Are you enrolled in veterinary school and considering participating in an essay contest? If this describes you, consider entering the SAVMA Economics Initiative Essay Contest! Students who submit an essay that addresses ways to reduce the stress of being a student financially are eligible to win prizes. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), which is an American organization dedicated to lobbying for the veterinary profession as well as the interests of veterinarians and their patients, is the one that runs the program. They work hard to promote the health and well-being of people, animals, and the environment we all live in together. This program aims to improve the standard of veterinary care by offering educational accreditation and certification programs to students currently enrolled in veterinary school. Two lucky students are awarded a total of $500 per year to assist in defraying the costs of their veterinary school studies.
