The Ohio State University Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship (LGOS) is a need-based scholarship program that provides financial assistance to eligible Ohio residents who are first-generation college students or who come from low-income families. The LGOS program is designed to ensure that students who have the potential to succeed in college have the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial circumstances.
The scholarship provides full tuition and fees for up to four years of undergraduate study at Ohio State University, as well as a $2,000 per year living stipend. To be eligible for the LGOS, students must be Ohio residents who are admitted to Ohio State University as first-year students, and who have a family income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
The LGOS scholarship program is part of Ohio State University’s commitment to providing access to higher education for students from all backgrounds.
