About This Scholarship

The Applegate-Jackson-Parks Future Teacher Scholarship may be an excellent opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students interested in applying “Right to Work” principles in education. Eligibility Criteria For Applegate-Jackson-Parks Future Teacher Scholarship

To qualify for the Applegate-Jackson-Parks Future Teacher Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Student Status: Applicants must be either undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Interest in “Right to Work” Principles: Applicants must demonstrate an interest in “Right to Work” principles and how they apply them to education.
  • Academic Standing: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of the United States.
  • Future Teaching Plans: Applicants must intend to pursue a career in education and be enrolled in an accredited teacher education program.
  • Essay Submission: Applicants must submit an essay of no more than 500 words describing their interest in “Right to Work” principles and how they apply them to education.
  • Recommendation Letter: Applicants must provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor who can speak to their academic achievements and potential in the field of education.
