In order to give Saginaw County students the chance to further their education, the Flegenheimer Family Scholarship was established in 1998. This scholarship is intended to help students improve their future readiness. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, have a 2.0 GPA, show financial need, and be enrolled in an undergraduate programme or Career and Technical Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation) at an approved Michigan institution to be eligible for the Flegenheimer Family Scholarship. Candidates pursuing a trade could receive preference.
