The Indiana University Dean’s Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program offered by Indiana University (IU) to incoming freshmen who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in high school. The scholarship is designed to recognize and reward students who have excelled academically and who have the potential to make significant contributions to the IU community.

The scholarship award is $12,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years, provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 and makes satisfactory progress toward their degree. In addition to the financial award, Dean’s Scholars are invited to participate in special programs and events throughout their time at IU, including academic and leadership workshops, cultural events, and community service projects.

This scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for high-achieving students to receive financial support for their college education while also engaging in meaningful leadership and service opportunities at IU. It is a testament to IU’s commitment to supporting and recognizing students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and service.
