High school and college students are invited to participate in the Districts Make the Difference film contest by making a little video showcasing the impact that their local special districts have on the neighbourhood.A window for video submissions will be available from January 1 through March 31. Districts Make the Difference will select the top 10 contenders. Finalists will be decided during the public voting session, which runs from May 10 to 17. Four factors will be considered for scoring the video submissions: production quality, accuracy and efficacy, creativity and originality, and entertainment value. Districts Make the Difference will present the first-place winner with $2,000, second-place winner with $1,000, and third-place winner with $500 at the end of selected month.
