About This Scholarship

Are you a senior in high school who demonstrates strength and courage while confronting problems and delights in imparting wisdom to others? If so, we want to hear from you! If this is the case, consider applying for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship! One hundred deserving students will each receive a $5,000 scholarship that has the potential to be renewed for up to four additional years, bringing the recipient’s total award to $20,000! The Equitable Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps people “pursue what’s possible” through their grants, collaborations, and volunteerism, is the organization that makes scholarships available to deserving students.

Eligibility Criteria For Equitable Excellence Scholarship

  • Academic Requirements: To be considered for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, applicants must have taken challenging courses in high school, including honors, AP, or IB courses.
  • Citizenship or Residency: Applicants for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship must be citizens or legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • Age: To be eligible for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university for the upcoming academic year.
  • Character and Community Service: Applicants for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship are expected to have a strong record of community service and leadership, as well as a demonstrated commitment to improving their communities.
  • Financial Need: While there is no strict requirement for financial need to be considered for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship, applicants are encouraged to demonstrate a need for financial assistance in their application materials.
