  • All the applicants must provide official transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and a personal statement explaining their interest in accounting and their career goals.
  • Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or other adults who can attest to their character, academic ability, and potential for success in accounting.
  • Applicants must be NJCPA student members. Student membership is free and can be obtained by completing an online application on the NJCPA website.

The application period for the NJCPA High School Senior Scholarship typically opens in January and closes in April, with winners announced in the following May. The scholarship award is $7,000, paid over four years, and recipients also receive a mentorship opportunity with a practicing CPA and access to other professional development resources.
