About This Scholarship

If you’re an active Eagle Scout member, consider applying for the National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship. This scholarship is available to all active Eagle Scout members in their last year of high school, through their junior year of an undergraduate program, or who have completed half of their associate degree or skilled trade program. The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA), an organization of Eagle Scouts, funds the scholarship. NESA’s mission is to support Eagle Scouts and the Scouting movement. The scholarship offers two awards of $5,000 and one award of $3,500 each year to assist Eagle Scouts with their educational expenses.

Eligibility Criteria For National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship

  • Membership: To be eligible for the National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship, you must be an active member of the Eagle Scouts. The scholarship is only available to those who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
  • Educational Level: The scholarship is open to active Eagle Scout members in their last year of high school, up to their junior year in an undergraduate program, or who have completed half of their associate degree or skilled trade program. Applicants must also enroll or plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational school.
  • Scholarship Funding: The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) funds the scholarship. NESA is a non-profit organization of individuals who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. The scholarship is part of NESA’s mission to serve Eagle Scouts and the Scouting movement.
  • Award Amount: Each year, the National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship awards $5,000 to two (2) Eagle Scouts and $3,500 to one (1) Eagle Scout. The scholarship money can be used to pay for educational expenses, such as tuition, books, and room and board.
