About This Scholarship

The American Council of Engineering Companies is an institution that contributes to the economic success and well-being of the United States of America. This is accomplished by advancing the corporate interests of member firms through legislative activism and business training. The American Council of Engineering Companies financially supports the ACECNJ General Scholarships. Their ACECNJ General Scholarships are awarded annually to several college juniors, seniors, and graduate students in New Jersey who are working toward a degree in an ABET-accredited technology or land surveying program. The amount of the award ranges from $2,500 to $5,000. The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACECNJ) was established to attend to the needs of its member firms, engineers, and other allied professionals who work on construction projects. ACECNJ’s mission is to advance the interests of its member firms in a manner consistent with the purposes, policies, and goals of America’s engineering community. It is also an association that serves as a resource for engineers and other allied professionals throughout the study of engineering disciplines and other professions that provide engineering and construction services.
