Eligibility Criteria For Aging Matters Scholarship

  • Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time students in an accredited college or university.
  • Major: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a field related to aging or gerontology, such as social work, nursing, psychology, sociology, or public health.
  • GPA: All the applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Citizenship: All the applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
  • Financial Need: Applicants may be required to demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Essay: Applicants must submit an essay that describes their interest in aging and gerontology, their personal goals, and the impact that the scholarship would have on their future.
