About This Scholarship

For undergraduate research apprenticeship stipends, the Alaska Space Grant Programme (ASGP), a member of the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Programme, is accepting applications from nationals of the United States. Undergraduate STEM (science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics) majors are eligible for these stipends.

The Alaska Space Grant Program-Undergraduate is a scholarship program designed to support undergraduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields with an emphasis on space-related research and technology. The program is funded by NASA and administered by the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible students to help cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses related to their STEM studies. Additionally, scholarship recipients have the opportunity to participate in research projects, internships, and other educational opportunities related to space science and technology.

Eligibility Criteria For Alaska Space Grant Program- Undergraduate

To be eligible for the Alaska Space Grant Program-Undergraduate, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a STEM field at an accredited institution in Alaska to apply for Alaska Space Grant Program- Undergraduate.
  • The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Alaska Space Grant Program- Undergraduate.
