About This Scholarship

The Alex Newton Scholarship was established in Alex Newton’s honor to help qualified students in Burke, Columbia, Richmond, McDuffie, or Warren County complete their secondary education in mechanical engineering. After the initial grant has been given, this $500 scholarship is renewable for one further semester as long as all renewal requirements are satisfied. A profession in mechanical engineering technology must be desired.
