About This Scholarship

There are many scholarships available for Muslim students, some of which are reserved for those pursuing Islamic education or another area related to their religion, while others are open to students studying in any field. The AMANA Mutual Funds Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) to support Muslim students who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in business, finance, economics, or related fields.

The Islamic Society of North America, a group that works to unify and advance the Muslim population in North America, provides funding for the AMANA Mutual Funds Scholarship. Each year, one  Muslim-American student majoring in finance, economics, or math at a university recognised in the United States receives a $2500 AMANA Mutual Funds Scholarship.

The scholarship provides financial support to help cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership potential, and their demonstrated commitment to their community and to the Islamic faith.
