About This Scholarship

The Bernard Heerey Foundation Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia. It is named after the late Bernard Heerey, a former chairman of the Australian Wheat Board and a philanthropist who supported educational causes. The scholarship program aims to support high-achieving international students who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs in any field of study at UQ. The scholarship covers 25% to 100% of the tuition fees for the duration of the program.

The scholarship is highly competitive, and applicants are assessed based on their academic achievements, leadership potential, personal qualities, and the potential impact of their studies on their home country.
