About This Scholarship

Seniors from Saginaw, Bay, or Midland Counties who are graduating high school may apply for the Bernice Barlow NAACP Scholarship. This scholarship is given in recognition of a brave and selfless person who led the Saginaw Branch for thirty years. Residents of Saginaw, Bay, and Midland counties are eligible for the Bernice Barlow NAACP Scholarship. Application requirements include being a senior in high school, pursuing an undergraduate degree, vocational training, or two-year degree full-time, maintaining a 2.0 GPA, and being a member of the NAACP yourself or having a parent who is.
