Eligibility Criteria For Ceiba Diversity Scholarship

The eligibility criteria for the Ceiba Diversity Scholarship are as follows:

  • Applicants must be a high school senior or recent graduate who is a first-generation college student and/or from an underrepresented racial or ethnic minority group.
  • Applicants must be accepted or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
  • Applicants must submit an essay addressing their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and how their personal experiences have influenced this commitment.
  • Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation, one from a high school counselor or teacher and one from a community leader or mentor.
