The Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) Scholars Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is a four-year scholarship program designed to support women pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM-related fields. The program seeks to increase the representation of women in these fields and provide a supportive community for scholars to thrive academically and professionally.
They will get mentoring and networking opportunities with faculty, staff, alumni, and industry professionals and a supportive community of like-minded scholars who share a passion for STEM via this scholarship.
Interested students can apply for the CWIT Scholars Program through the UMBC application portal. The application includes several short essays, two recommendation letters, and an interview. The application deadline for the program is typically in early January, and decisions are announced in March.
