About This Scholarship

The Charlie C. Turman Scholarship Programme was created in Mr. Charlie C. Turman’s honour to help deserving students in McDuffie and Warren counties pursue a secondary education in agriculture/agribusiness, HVAC, or mechanical at a trade school or technical school. The scholarship is renewable for one more academic year after the initial grant is made, provided the student meets all renewal requirements. The scholarship is worth $1,000 per academic year, with a maximum payout of $2,000 over two years.
