They offer various scholarships, including the CIC/Anna Chennault Scholarship, named after Anna Chennault, a writer, international business executive, and the founder of the Council for International Cooperation (CIC). Each year, one deserving Asian-American journalist will be awarded $5,000 along with travel, lodging, and registration to attend AAJA’s national annual convention and will also be assigned a mentor for the event.
