About This Scholarship

The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship is an annual initiative to aid students enrolled in HACU member schools. First-generation students who are the first in their families to pursue college are eligible for the scholarship. It provides $2,500 in educational funding to five pupils.

Coca-Cola, one of the most well-known beverage companies in the globe, is providing the scholarship. It is managed by HACU, a grouping of the nation’s Hispanic universities and schools. The bursary is one of the many prizes that HACU offers.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines with a minimum GPA of 2.5 is the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship. (on a scale of 4.0). A FAFSA diploma and an essay on the assigned topic are required for submission.

The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship Program at The University of Alabama chooses a new freshman winner each spring. A competitive interview procedure is used to choose the student during their senior year of high school. The only pupils who are eligible for this scholarship are first-year, in-state students.

Eligibility Criteria For Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship

Candidates for the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship Program are required to meet the following criteria:

  • The candidate must Enroll in a designated UH 100 course during the fall semester.
  • He must participate in all required activities, programs, and service projects.
  • The applicant should be a first-generation student and is described for this program as coming from a family where neither the parents nor any of the siblings have completed any post-secondary education.
  • The applicant for this scholarship should be a citizen of Alabama
  • He must attend Honors Action.
  • The applicant for this scholarship should be a 3.0 GPA or better in high school
  • The applicant should meet regularly with the First Generation Scholarships Program Manager.
  • The applicant for this scholarship should Indicate a need for money.
