About This Scholarship

For current high school graduates who moved to the Chicagoland region at some point between grades 9 and 12, CRC is offering a scholarship programme. Scholarship recipients will be chosen by CRC based on the quality of their entire application package. The student’s performance in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and their response to an essay describing how they overcame the difficulties of moving to a new town and high school will all be taken into account in the evaluation. Applicants must have moved more than 50 miles and changed schools as a result of their family’s relocation, have a 3.0 GPA, and have relocated between the start of their freshman year and the end of their senior year.

Eligibility Criteria For Corporate Relocation Council Scholarship

Here are some general factors that are commonly considered:

  • Field of Study: The CRC Scholarship may be open to students pursuing any field of study or may have specific preferences for certain areas of study. This information can typically be found in the scholarship program’s guidelines or application materials.
  • Academic Achievement: The scholarship program may consider the applicant’s academic performance, such as their grade point average (GPA) or class rank. They may require a minimum GPA or specific academic standards to be met.
  • Relocation Experience: Since the scholarship is offered by the Corporate Relocation Council, it is likely that they prioritize applicants who have experienced corporate or employee relocation. This could include individuals who have personally relocated due to a parent’s job transfer or employees who have been relocated by a company.
  • Personal Statement: Many scholarship applications, including the CRC Scholarship, require applicants to submit a personal statement or essay. This allows applicants to explain their background, experiences, career aspirations, and how the scholarship would contribute to their educational goals.
  • Letters of Recommendation: The scholarship program may require applicants to provide letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or employers who can speak to their academic abilities, character, and potential for success.
