About This Scholarship

The CVS Health Minority Scholarship for Pharmacy Students is a scholarship program that is designed to provide financial assistance to underrepresented minority students who are pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at an accredited pharmacy school in the United States. The scholarship is awarded by CVS Health and is open to African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Native American students who are currently enrolled in their first, second, or third year of a pharmacy program. The scholarship awards up to $5,000 to each recipient and can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. In addition to the financial award, recipients are also given the opportunity to participate in a CVS Health internship during the summer months.

  • Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school in the United States as a full-time student
  • Identification as African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American

  • Enrollment as a first-, second-, or third-year pharmacy student at the time of application

The scholarship is not open to students who are in their final year of a pharmacy program or who have already graduated from a pharmacy program. Applicants must also be in good academic standing and have a demonstrated commitment to community service.
