About This Scholarship

A stipend of $25,000 each will be given to two graduate students by Danone North America. The chosen applicants should possess a strong background in research and an enthusiasm for the field of yoghurt, probiotics, and the gut microbiome (the “Field”) in human health and wellness. The submission of a study proposal that investigates indicators of human health and wellness is encouraged.

In order to fund cutting-edge research on yoghurt, probiotics, and the gut microbiome, the Danone Fellowship Grant was created in 2010. A panel of judges with experience in the field selects the winners based on the calibre of their ideas, faculty recommendations, and the contribution of each study to human health and wellness.
