About This Scholarship

The Lincoln Community Foundation is a driving force working to improve our community’s future. Making grants to support charitable endeavors and assisting donors in making philanthropic contributions to local nonprofit organizations are only two aspects of improving our city. More than 90 scholarship funds benefiting students in Nebraska have been established by kind donors to the Lincoln Community Foundation.

To be eligible for the David Staenberg Dyslexia Scholarship, candidates they must have plans to enroll in any accredited two-year or four-year university or college; and they must be able to provide proof of a diagnosed case of dyslexia. Candidates must submit their transcripts, a letter of recommendation, and a reference from a credible professional in addition to completing the application.
