About This Scholarship

The goal of the non-profit Dennis Henneke Foundation (DHF) is to preserve Dennis Henneke’s kind attitude and honor his memory. Dennis had a great enthusiasm for giving advice and supporting others. The DHF was established to support individuals with difficult family situations or exceptional hardship in pursuing their passions and achieving their objectives via education.

The following requirements must be met in order to be considered for a DHF scholarship: the applicant must show financial need; be a Texas resident and a US citizen; have attended high school or been homeschooled in the relevant counties; be a high school senior, a student currently enrolled in college, university, or trade school, or a returning student; have the plan to enroll in an accredited undergraduate college or university, trade or technical school; and have the plan to return to school.
