About This Scholarship

The Denver Scholarship Foundation Scholarship is a scholarship program that supports Denver Public Schools graduates in pursuing their post-secondary education goals. The scholarship is awarded by the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF), a non-profit organization that is committed to increasing access to higher education for Denver students.

The DSF Scholarship is a need-based financial aid programme for qualified Denver Public Schools grads. The grant is renewable for up to four years in a row, depending on the type of college, and it can be used at any of DSF’s 31 College Partners in Colorado, including technical community.

Eligibility Criteria For Denver Scholarship Foundation Scholarship

To be eligible for the Denver Scholarship Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a graduate of a Denver Public Schools high school or an accredited Denver charter school.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  • Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited post-secondary institution, including vocational or technical schools, community colleges, or four-year colleges or universities.
  • All the participants must demonstrate financial need to apply for this scholarship.
  • They must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Submit an application, transcripts, and letters of recommendation.

The Denver Scholarship Foundation Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year and can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided that the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0 and remains enrolled in a qualifying program of study.
