About This Scholarship

A competitive one-time grant, the Doc Cohen Franchising Scholarship. The scholarship winner will also get travel assistance (up to $1500) to attend the NextGen in Franchising programmes at the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Annual Convention. An award of a scholarship and a travel allowance (up to $1500) to attend the IFA Annual Convention will be made possible by the Doc Cohen Franchising Scholarship. Scholarship applicants must be citizens of the United States who are enrolled in an approved U.S. college or university and who want to major in or focus primarily on business, finance, marketing, food service, hospitality, franchising, or entrepreneurship. Along with their scholarship application, candidates must submit a business plan on a business concept that is up to 10 pages long.

The applicant must be a citizen of the United States and enrolled in a U.S. college or university with a major or primary focus in business, finance, marketing, food service, franchising, or entrepreneurship. You must also submit a college transcript and a business plan (up to 10 pages) for the franchise concept you want to own.

Eligibility Criteria For Doc Cohen Franchising Scholarship

The IFA Annual Convention travel stipend (up to $1500) and scholarship will be supported by this programme. Scholarship applicants must be citizens of the United States who are enrolled in an approved U.S. college or university and who want to major in or focus primarily on business, finance, marketing, food service, hospitality, franchising, or entrepreneurship. A business plan with up to 10 pages must be submitted by applicants.

Eligibility criteria for Doc Cohen Franchising Scholarship are as follows:

  • American citizens enrolled in a U.S. college or university with a major or primary specialisation in business, finance, marketing, food service, hospitality, franchising, or entrepreneurship.
  • Send in a business plan (maximum 10 pages) for a franchise idea you’d want to acquire.
