About This Scholarship

to give deserving young black women rewards for their education. A black female applicant must meet the following requirements: – Have a permanent address in Winnebago County OR be related to Dr. Gussie M. Ware. – Be a high school senior or GED recipient beginning postsecondary education for the first time.
