Eligibility Criteria For Florida International University Ambassador Scholarship

The Florida International University (FIU) Ambassador Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current or incoming student at Florida International University.
  • Have completed at least 30 credit hours at FIU by the end of the semester in which they apply.
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, as evidenced by their involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or other leadership positions.
  • Submit a personal statement describing their leadership experiences and how they plan to use their skills to contribute to the FIU community.
  • Have no financial holds or past-due balances on their student account.
  • Applicants must also provide two letters of recommendation from faculty members or community leaders who can attest to their leadership skills and academic achievement.
