About This Scholarship

Are you currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in college in Hawaii to pursue a career in business? If this is the case, give some thought to applying for the Fukunaga Scholarship! Residents of Hawaii planning to enroll in an approved college or university and pursuing a degree in business are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students currently enrolled in Hawaii colleges and universities working toward business degrees are also eligible. Servco, a Hawaiian firm that provides automotive products and services in addition to home and commercial product distribution, is the entity behind the provision of this program. They are committed to putting in much effort to ensure their customers are happy and provide high-quality goods and services. Servco has established a scholarship program to assist students in achieving their academic goals. As a result, many applications are selected to receive $5,000 each year to offset tuition and other expenses. This scholarship can be renewed up to three times for a total of $20,000 throughout a bachelor’s degree program that lasts for four years.

Eligibility Criteria For Fukunaga Scholarship

The Fukunaga Scholarship is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing their undergraduate or graduate studies in the United States. The scholarship is awarded to students who meet certain eligibility criteria, which are as follows:

  • Citizenship: The scholarship is only available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • Academic Achievement: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for the scholarship.
  • Field of Study: The scholarship is open to students pursuing a degree in business or a related field, such as accounting, finance, marketing, or economics.
  • Enrollment Status: Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a U.S. college or university.
  • Personal Qualities: Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential, community involvement, and a strong work ethic.
  • Application Materials: Applicants must submit a completed application form, a personal essay, a resume, official transcripts, and two letters of recommendation.
