About This Scholarship

Full Circle and Tribal College Scholarships are financial aid programs designed to support Native American and Alaska Native students in pursuing higher education. The Full Circle Scholarship is administered by the American Indian College Fund and provides funding for Native American students who are enrolled full-time at a tribal college or university, as well as students who are enrolled full-time at a mainstream college or university. Applicants must be members of a federally recognized tribe or be able to provide proof of descent from a federally recognized tribe.

The Tribal College Scholarship is specific to students who are enrolled full-time at a tribal college or university. This scholarship is awarded by the college or university and may cover tuition, fees, and books. 

These scholarships are intended to support Native American and Alaska Native students in achieving their academic goals and improving their communities. They provide important financial support and resources to students who might otherwise be unable to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria For Full Circle & Tribal College Scholarships

To be eligible for the Full Circle Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation, or be a descendant of an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation.
  • Be enrolled full-time or part-time in an accredited post-secondary institution, including tribal colleges or universities, community colleges, or four-year colleges or universities.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Submit an application, transcripts, and letters of recommendation.

To be eligible for the Tribal College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an enrolled member of a tribal college or university.
  • Be enrolled full-time or part-time in an accredited post-secondary institution, including tribal colleges or universities, community colleges, or four-year colleges or universities.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and he must demonstrate financial need.
