About This Scholarship

The Community Foundation envisions Monroe County as a place where everyone has the chance to prosper. By subscribing to the following values—stewardship, local impact, community relationships, inclusion, and legacy—we work to successfully carry out our goal. The Community Foundation of Monroe County has had the honour of thoughtfully philanthropically assisting the Monroe County Community for 40 years. As we take stock of our forty years of service, we also recognise the accomplishment of providing our community with more than $1,000,000 in grants and scholarships this year.

Over 120 scholarships are available to Monroe County citizens each year through the Community Foundation of Monroe County.
