About This Scholarship

Due to the generosity of former Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) Board Member Rick Grossman and his wife Susie, VOC is able to provide two $10,000 scholarships and four $5,000 scholarships** each year to deserving Colorado residents who have shown a dedication to protecting our environment’s natural resources and who want to enrol in an accredited programme for post-secondary education in the environmental, natural resource, climate change, or outdoor industry.

Two scholarships worth $10,000 each and four scholarships worth $5,000 are being offered by Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) to Colorado students who have shown a commitment to protecting the environment’s natural resources. For graduating high school seniors and graduate and non-traditional students, there are three scholarships available. All pupils must be enrolled in a post-secondary programme.
